What makes this different from school career counseling?
Most school career guidance looks at your grades and interests, then suggests careers that match.
This approach looks at how you think, what environments suit you, what you actually value in work, and how to make decisions when you're not sure.
It's not about finding "the perfect career" – it's about developing the self-understanding to make better decisions as you go.
Why this matters:
Research shows that 75% of university students change their major at least once, and 50% of graduates work in fields unrelated to their degree.

The problem isn't that students make "wrong" choices – it's that traditional career guidance doesn't give them the tools to understand themselves well enough to make informed decisions.
What we focus on:
- Your actual thinking style and work preferences (not just "creative vs. analytical")
- What you value in work beyond salary and status
- How to evaluate pathways when you're not certain
- Building decision-making skills you'll use throughout your career
This isn't about testing you or telling you what to do. It's about giving you the frameworks to understand yourself and make decisions that actually fit who you are.
The research on career guidance
Career decisions aren't just about information – they're about developing self-understanding and decision-making skills.
Research shows that:
- Students who receive structured career guidance make more informed decisions and experience less anxiety about career choices
- Understanding your work preferences and values is a better predictor of career satisfaction than matching interests to job lists
- Career decision-making skills developed in adolescence continue to benefit people throughout their working lives
Having someone who understands career development (not just someone telling you to "follow your passion" or "choose something practical") makes the difference between spinning in circles and actually moving forward.
